The Periods of Dilemma

Okay, so this article is a little bit about me and what I do. Currently I’m in my final year of my graduation and now that only a few months left upon the completion of my graduation, I’m pounded with questions about my future plans. And yeah, the astonishing thing is that I’m not frustrated about it. I understand the concerns of my elders, my peers and my juniors. I don’t know but I think and I wish that my decisions for my future may help them in some way or other.

Well, I’m not going to bore you with my future plans and try to explain why it may or may not work because ofcourse, I’m in a stage of dilemma. I remember the times when I just completed my high school and then there was the dilemma about joining a good college, or entering a new stream. Four years later, now I’m in the same scenario. However, this time, the choices are just different. Being from a small town full of interesting people, having spent my childhood in a magnificient school (2003-2015-2017 batch ❤) with magnificient people (DPS Colony ❤) and being with my lifelong friends from college (Bhai Mane ❤), I know that I will definitely figure out something to persue as a career and have a living. But that ‘something’ is a chamber of secrets.

Anyways, we often fall into such situations where we are unable to realise our strengths and weaknesses. We often get confused with the world and don’t get to realise what is best for us. We just see the world around us and react accordingly. We really don’t give enough time to ourself and rush into something satisfactory yet unfulfilling. We don’t follow our dreams rather follow the societal logics. I’m not suggesting that the society is, in anyways, wrong because the ways of the society are the most secured and proven ones. However, I strongly suggest that before following the ways of the society, one must try to follow their dreams first, analyse the best thing for themselves and then make their preferred choices.

The key is to follow your gut. Just don’t disagree with an idea that someone shares with you for your own benefits but also, don’t sabotage your own dreams. Try to understand every perspective of life. Ask your parents, your elders, your neighbours, your relatives, your friends, your peers, your elders, and your juniors. You can also ask a stranger, a kid, an old person, a successful person or a beggar. See the world through their eyes and let them see the world through yours. Analyse each perspective and prioritize the things that you want in your life and make choices accordingly. Life is not a sprint, it’s a marathon and whenever you’re in a doubt, just keep moving forward and keep doing what you love and the answers will automatically be right infront of you.

Now, if you ask me about my future, I won’t be eating Bingo Mad Angles and answering you in a vague manner like Ranveer Singh Sir did (pretty hilarious though). I would be saying you that I’m still figuring out because as a matter of fact, we all are. Following a certain path right now, which I feel that it might be best for me, doesn’t gurantee me a success or fufillments, but it does give me a sense of satisfaction now and I hope that it will give me the feeling of ‘I atleast tried’ in the future and I feel that these feelings are the best in the world. As I said in my earlier article, we all are in different boats but we are in the same sea, the sea of time. Because, life is all about happiness and at the end of the day you just want to build beautiful and magical moments.
